Nike Markville
Nike Markville was part of a series of partner doors designed in the Toronto Canada area. The goal for the partner door portfolio was to inspire and enable the local athlete, through the lens of the Nike Brand, and the lifestyle of modern sport. The slat language, which became the common thread between the doors, was inspired by local architecture mixed with Nike’s inherent ability to enable movement. The facade design was inspired by the “wind runner” product that cuts a V into the facade at an angle of 26.2 degrees, the same milage required to complete a marathon. The environmental graphics and sculptures were also meant to give the illusion of movement and sport as the consumer explores the space.
